The Digital DNA Awards are back and bigger than ever with nominations for the much sought after awards Digital now open.
Held in partnership with MCS Group, the Digital DNA Awards celebrate the best tech talent, from companies of all sizes, excelling in the world of Digital and Tech, not just in Northern Ireland, but further afield. Developers, engineers and entrepreneurs to digital projects to start-ups and FDI’s will all be vying for some of the 13 highly sought-after awards, which will be presented at the not-to-be-missed awards ceremony on 26 March 2020.
Now in their 5th year, the Digital DNA Awards are a major highlight for the Tech Industry, recognising the very best companies, projects and individuals from right across Northern Ireland.
Simon Bailie, CEO of Digital DNA, said he was excited about the return of what has been described as the biggest night for the Northern Ireland tech scene.

During that time, the Digital DNA Awards have transformed to become the most sough-after recognition to some of the world’s most prolific digital and tech talent working in Northern Ireland.”

In addition to the 13 awards being presented on 26th March, the evening will also see the presentation of the Global Recognition Award, recognising the incredible work an individual has played in helping to grow and promote the tech industry in Northern Ireland. Recent recipients have been Andrea Haughian from Invest NI and the late Brian Conlon, founder of one of Northern Irelands most successful companies, First Derivatives.

With the quality of winners and runners-up over the past few years and with over 300 entries in 2019, the 2020 edition of the awards is set to be another incredible year of recognition for the tech industry in Northern Ireland.
Nominations opened on 6th January and will close at 5pm on 10th February 2020, in what is expected to be another competitive competition, before the winners are announced at the not-to-be-missed awards evening on 26 March 2020.
The overall Company of the Year will also be awarded on the night with the decision being made by via a public vote. Pictured above are last year’s winners Whitespace, who also scooped Deal of the Year for their work with an Australian Challenger bank.

The awards will be presented at a high octane, energetic and informal awards dinner at ICC Belfast (formerly Belfast Waterfront Hall) and will be hosted by local TV Presenter Zoe Salmon and well known local comedian, Shane Todd.
